Named after the roman goddess of knowledge and my granny’s pet owl, Minerva HR consulting is a friendly consultancy here to help creative SMEs make wise people decisions and identify and deliver positive solutions to enhance employees’ experiences at work.

I set up Minerva HR Consulting in 2020 to support SME creative companies in London and the South East with any of  their HR issues so they can focus on growth, whilst balancing the needs of my three creative children who all work professionally on stage, film, tv and radio.

With over 16 years’ experience within creative SME businesses  (Digital, Advertising, Social Media, Theatre, Entertainment) in standalone HR roles I have expert knowledge in all areas of the employee lifecycle journey, I understand that managing people's issues is not always easy and knowing where to begin can often feel overwhelming.

I specialise in working with start-up and growing companies wanting to invest in making their business a great place  and working those  facing more complex employee relations issues like disciplinaries, grievances, sickness absence, and TUPE.  I am also an expert in employee sponsorship applications to bring in workers from outside the UK.


From writing your first employment contract and putting the correct policies and procedures in place, managing difficult conversations and dealing with your HR admin, through to personal development plans, building a great company culture and being clear on your people strategy having the HR basics in place is key to keep your business running smoothly.
